About the Department
Prepare to serve society as a secondary education teacher. For aspiring teachers, we offer programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels leading to initial teaching certification in grades 6–12. Graduates of our fully accredited programs are actively recruited across the state and the nation.
Pre-Clinical
Take courses on the foundations of education, inclusive education and adolescent development.
Clinical I
Create and teach a 10-day unit with over 175 hours of field experience.
Clinical II
Full time student teaching experiences in local classrooms with active supportive.
